Born and Raised in the Greater Richmond Area Thornton went on to Major in Music at VCU then move to prestigious Eastman School of Music in Rochester NY and after a few years in LA settled where he has been for over 40 year in Hendersonville- Nashville Area. In that time he has contributed in either Writing, Producing, or Performing on over 700 Songs and Growing. He teamed up with Englbert Humperdink and well known Disco Diva in the Day Gloria Gaynor to write
"Love is the Reason" and win a Grammy back in the 90s. While he continues to play, record and teach about Three years ago he decided to write an overview of the different Personalities that Teachers may and he did encounter when working. His Book and Literary Facet of his Contributions took off from there with Practice Personalities Whats Your Type. Since then you can see the new ones added and his first Adult work a Novel titled The Contrary.
